Cricket

Recreational cricket is widely played across East Yorkshire in summer. The Yorkshire Cricket Board and local club listings are a good starting point for finding a side to join.

Badminton & table tennis

Local leisure centres run by Hull City Council and East Riding Council typically host badminton and table tennis sessions.

Football

Hull City AFC plays at the MKM Stadium. Sunday-league and 5-a-side football are popular and bookable through council leisure centres.

Rugby league

Hull is unusual in having two professional rugby league clubs: Hull FC and Hull KR.

Running, walking & cycling

parkrun events take place at several locations across Hull and the East Riding on Saturday mornings. The Trans Pennine Trail also passes through the area.
