Welcome to BritishIndians.org
A community space for Indians in Hull and East Yorkshire — secular, family-friendly and focused on everyday life in the UK.
We share practical information about schools, work, housing, food and getting settled in the region.
About Us Get in TouchA new platform for our community
BritishIndians.org is a new, volunteer-led website for people of Indian heritage who live in or are moving to Kingston upon Hull and the wider East Riding of Yorkshire. It brings together useful, day-to-day information in one place so newcomers can settle in quickly and long-time residents can stay connected.
We focus on practical topics — schools, jobs, housing, food, sports and social activities — and we keep the platform strictly secular so that everyone is welcome regardless of faith or background.
Note: this site has just launched. Listings, events and resources will grow as more community members contribute. Some content on the site is illustrative and clearly labelled as such.
